Battle Rules
-Basics- Battle Start in the following way: First, if you wish it to be a sanctioned battle, you have to find an official judge. Second when the fight starts, the judge will ask each combatant to register their Zoid by typing in the number of the Gear.
YOU MUST HAVE A ZOID REGISTRATION GEAR TO BATTLE!!)
Battles are run in rounds. Who ever has the highest speed, goes first. If both speeds are Equal, then who ever has the lowest Hp goes first. If both are equal, do a roll, highest goes first. In case of a tie, re-roll. If you have double the speed of your opponent you get 2 turns to his 1. So on and so fourth for triple or quadruple.
-Air Zoids vs Ground Zoids- All Zoid Pilots that have Ground or Air type Zoids must purchase either Anti-Ground Bombs for Air types or Anti-Air Missiles for ground types if they wish to battle Air vs Ground!!
-Battling- In order to attack, you state your attack (as well with some Rp to go along with the attack) Then, you roll the stated Rolls required. Example:
Damage: 300 Hp + 2 rolls
This means you would use the chat command //roll two times. Special to that rule, If the weapon doest say Rolls, it means it won't miss unless your opponent's speed is twice your own or higher. When you roll your dice, Damage is delt by the following manor:
Damage + (Roll X Roll)
This translates in the following example: Zoid 1 Attacks, Zoid 1 rolls + 1 rolls and the following result occurs: 5 2
The Base damage is 50, Then you multiply the two numbers for each roll (Example: 5X2). Then you add that result to the base damage. Example: 50 + (5X2) = 60 Dmg or 50 (5X2= 10) = 60 Dmg In the case of Multiple Rolls, you add the Roll's result together. Example: 5 6, 2 2. 5X6 = 30 + 2X2 = 4 Then 30 + 4 = 34, Then 34 + Base Damage = Total Damage. You dont have to post your damage delt, but you can ask the judge or proctor (See Unsanctioned Battles Below) to show status of the match. During a fight, a miss does happen. And it's done the following way to determine a misses in Unsanctioned (Judgeless but proctored) matches..
+ 1 rolls = 1 1
+ 2 rolls = 1 1, 1 *any number*
+ 3 rolls = 1 1, 1 1 or 1 2
+ 4 rolls = 1 1, 1 1 or 1 2, 1 1 or 1 2
+ 5 rolls and above: if the toltal Number of 1's is the equal to the number of rolls it's Miss. (example, with +6 rolls, if they roll six 1's, then its a Miss regardless on it's 1 1 or not).
Special Rules, Unsanctioned Battles. (Matches with out an official Judge) In order to have a match of this nature, First you need to find someone who knows the rules well to proctor (Basically Keep Score) Also, everyone will have to keep a log (or Copy and paste into an email) Second, Unsanctioned Battles are only worth 2k, no matter what. Also these battles do count against your number of battles.
-All Battle Logs- Logs must be delt with in two ways. First, all parties involved must keep a log. Then when the battle finishes, the log is to be posted by the participants in a email to me or the updater. This is done to keep track of how many battles you faught. There are only 5 battles aloud (Unsanctioned, Sanctioned, and a combination of the two count towards this limit). In the Subject, it has to state the Characters name vs Character name. Finally the proctor or judge must send the log to me or the updater. (This is done to prevent perhaps the Proctor or Judge from with holding the log.).
-Mechanics- All Zoid Pilots must have a Mechanic on their team, if they don't then you cannot battle with the same Zoid you lost a battle with!! It takes 1 hour to repair your Zoid if you have a Mechanic on your team, and it takes 2 hours if you don't have a Mechanic on your team!! |
